Before starting this business, I spent my days teaching in public schools. After becoming a mom, I was grateful for the chance to stay home with my kids. As much as I loved that season, I eventually found myself wanting something that felt like mine again. And honestly, when my kids were babies, jewelry was the last thing on my mind. Between diaper changes, clingy little arms, and sleepless nights, accessorizing just didn’t happen.

Everything changed when I got my first piece of permanent jewelry. I fell in love instantly. It added a touch of sparkle and a sense of connection — without requiring any extra time or effort. That simple feeling lit a spark in me. Within a month, I bought a machine, completed training, and launched Simply Chained.

A little later, after getting a few new piercings, I realized how hard it was to find hypoallergenic, push‑pin, flat‑back earrings that were both comfortable and stylish. They were the perfect match for the effortless vibe of permanent jewelry, so I expanded my offerings to include them. Now, I get to help others find jewelry they can wear every day without worry.
